Louisville big man Gorgui Dieng took the country by storm on Thursday, racking up seven blocks to help the Cardinals upset the No. 1 Michigan State Spartans in the West region, earning an Elite Eight matchup with Florida.

The Gators know they’ll have their work cut out for them in the paint, but they know how to deal with Dieng.

They’ve already played against a very similar player three times this season: Kentucky’s Anthony Davis.

“We know you can't go in there and throw something up because he'll probably block it,” senior point guard Erving Walker said. “Great shot blockers, we learned we have to keep them away from the rim, space them out and get the ball inside to Patric (Young) and let him attack them or (Erik Murphy) on spread, pick and rolls, hopefully get open threes.”
