A year ago, Billy Donovan isn’t quite certain the Florida Gators could have slugged out a win over Georgia Southern the way they did Wednesday night at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. The Gators won this one with defense, rebounding and a willingness to chase down loose balls to extend possessions, a far cry from last year’s game when the Gators literally had to outshoot the Eagles to get a win.
