Chandler Parsons buried a three-pointer from NBA range with 33 seconds remaining Sunday afternoon to extend one streak and the Florida Gators extended a more important streak by beating the Stetson Hatters, 74-46, in their first game of the season before an announced crowd of 10,077 at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Parsons kept Florida’s 580-game streak with at least one three-pointer intact and the win made it 19 years since the last time the Gators have lost a season opener.
