Gators have to win one at SEC tourney

For the third straight year, the Florida Gators go into the Southeastern Conference Basketball Tournament needing to make a big enough statement that the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee will overlook what’s happened in the final two weeks of the season. Two years ago a first round win SEC Tournament win over Alabama would have erased three straight losses at the end of the regular season. Last year, the Gators needed two wins in the SEC Tournament to overcome three losses in the final four regular season games. In both instances, the Gators came up short.
