Freshman sizzle, veterans fizzle

Michael Frazier II received a pass from Mike Rosario on the right wing and swished a three-pointer.

The true freshman’s follow-through was pure. He pointed to Rosario for a quick nod to acknowledge the assist as he backpedaled down the court.

Frazier II was smooth and relaxed from start to finish. He looked like a veteran, not a freshman. Neither did four of his classmates during the No. 10 Florida Gators 101-71 win against Nebraska-Kearney during an exhibition game on Thursday.

Led by a team-high 21 points by Frazier II, three of those four freshmen finished in double figures.
