Frazier II wins SEC weekly honor

Florida Gators shooting guard Michael Frazier II has been named the SEC Freshman of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

Frazier II led six players in double figures when he scored a game-high 17 points in an 82-49 home win against Marquette on Thursday. He was 5 of 8 from three-point range.

It was the first time a Gators freshman has led the team in scoring since Bradley Beal accomplished the feat in an Elite Eight loss against Louisville last season
