Florida freshman guard Michael Frazier II was named the SEC Freshman of the Week for the second this year and snapped a four week streak of Nerlens Noel being named Freshman of the Week.

Frazier shot 6 of 7 from beyond the arc Saturday at Auburn and had a career-high 18 points.

On the year, Frazier is shooting 50 percent from the 3-point line and is averaging 6.3 points per game.

Frazier’s 39 threes leads all freshmen in the SEC, and he has played in all of Florida’s games this season.

Frazier and the Gators will look to continue their hot streak as they travel to Columbia, Mo., on Tuesday to take on Missouri.

Even with Noel playing, I believe Fraizer gives him a run for freshman of the year.
