If someone had told you Florida would start 0-13 from the three-point line, finish with a season-low four made threes and Casey Prather would have the best game for the Gators in their second round NCAA Tournament game against Virginia, you probably would have thought Florida was blown out.

Instead, the Gators steamrolled the Cavaliers en route to a 71-45 victory, securing a matchup in the third round with the winner of No. 2 Missouri and No. 15 Norfolk State.

Late in the second half, Kenny Boynton came up with a loose ball and tossed it up the left side of the court to Erving Walker. Walker lofted a pass to the right side of the rim and Prather slammed it home emphatically, putting one final stamp on the best game of his career.

“That guy was somebody that no one has seen play like that since he’s been here,” teammate Patric Young said on the Gator Radio Network. “He played a great game.”
