ShareGators must rebound without Will Yeguete
Florida’s worst fears were confirmed late Tuesday when sophomore Will Yeguete’s X-rays came up positive for a broken foot following Florida's win over Auburn.
The power forward broke the fifth metatarsal in his left foot and will be sidelined for the rest of the season, with a four- to six-week recovery.
“He’s out for the year,” coach Billy Donovan said. “He had surgery this morning, everything went well. He’s basically done. He’s going to be in a cast-boot for four to six weeks, so there’s no way that he’ll come back and play.”
