Florida Gators No. 10 in basketball polls

After playing just one official game this past week, the Florida Gators basketball team did not move up or down in the national polls.

Florida remained No. 10 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, which were released Monday. The Gators also were No. 10 in both preseason polls.

The Gators (1-0) throttled Alabama State 84-35 at home on Sunday behind a game-high 22 points by senior point guard Kenny Boynton and a double-double (12 points, 12 rebounds) by junior center Patric Young.
