Former Gator Marreese Speights was traded from the Memphis Grizzlies to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday. Speights is one of 10 former UF men’s basketball players currently in the NBA.

Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards
Against Sacramento on Wednesday, January 16, Beal tallied a career-best 26 points. The rookie followed that performance with a 23-point effort in the next game for the Wizards. Beal is averaging 13.6 ppg, 3.5 rpg, and 2.6 apg for Washington in his first season in the professional ranks.

Matt Bonner, San Antonio Spurs
Bonner has played in 37 games for San Antonio this year, averaging 3.8 ppg and 2.0 rpg. Against Atlanta on Saturday, January 19, he tallied 17 points, a season-best, on 7-for-8 shooting. Due to his three-point shooting this season, Bonner has garnered a following that is attempting to get him into this year’s three-point contest during All-Star Weekend. There is a Facebook page and Twitter hashtag, #LetBonnerShoot, dedicated to getting him into the contest.

Corey Brewer, Denver Nuggets
Brewer has played in every game for Denver this season, averaging 11.3 ppg and 3.3 rpg. In the team’s last outing against the defending Western Conference champions, Oklahoma City, on Sunday, January 20, Brewer led the team in scoring with 26 points. The game marked his highest scoring output since scoring a season-high 27 points against the Los Angeles Lakers on December 26.

Udonis Haslem, Miami Heat
Haslem has only missed two games this year for Miami and has started 20. He is averaging 3.6 ppg and 5.4 rpg. Haslem is currently 52 rebounds shy of his 5,000th career rebound. This past week, he averaged 5.0 ppg and 8.5 rpg in the Heat’s two games.

Al Horford, Atlanta Hawks
Horford is averaging 15.6 ppg, 9.8 rpg, and 3.3 apg for Atlanta this season. He is currently tied for 12th in the league in rebounding. Last week, Horford tallied at least 10 rebounds in three games. In the Hawks’ last game against Minnesota on Monday, January 21, Horford recorded a season-best 28 points.

David Lee, Golden State Warriors
Lee is currently seventh in rebounding and is the 12th-leading scorer in the league, averaging 19.6 ppg and 10.8 rpg. This past week, Lee recorded two double-doubles.

Mike Miller, Miami Heat
In 35 games, Miller is averaging 4.0 ppg and 2.3 rpg. Last week, Miller played in one game for Miami. He pulled down three rebounds against Golden State on Wednesday, January 17.

Joakim Noah, Chicago Bulls
Along with Lee, Noah is one of 10 players in the league to be averaging a double-double (12.2 ppg and 10.7 rpg). In addition, Noah leads Chicago in steals and blocks on the year. Last week, Noah recorded two double-doubles and swatted a season-high six shots against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday, January 21.

Chandler Parsons, Houston Rockets
Parsons is averaging 14.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg, and 3.5 apg for Houston in 42 games this season. He scored in double figures in three of four games this past week.

Marreese Speights, Cleveland Cavaliers
Speights has not played with his new team, Cleveland, yet this season. Last week, he narrowly missed out on a double-double as a member of Memphis. Speights recorded 10 points and nine rebounds against Sacramento on Jan. 18.
