It has begun — at least for the diehard Gators basketball fans.
The one month countdown is upon us.
Nov. 7, aboard the USS Bataan, the Florida basketball season will set sail in a nationally-televised game against Georgetown.
On display will be a Gators team returning seven of its top nine players, all of whom provided significant minutes in 2011-2012.
It is a squad senior guard Kenny Boynton recently described as “16 deep” and one which many preseason prognosticators envision cruising well into March.
