Donovan looks for resiliency from UF

Coming off a 20-point loss to the nation’s No. 1 team on the road, the No. 8 Florida Gators will be looking to avoid their first back-to-back losses since the end of the 2009-10 season.

The Wildcats’ win over the Gators snapped a seven-game SEC winning streak for Florida, dating back to a 67-56 loss to Tennessee in Knoxville in the conference opener.

Coach Billy Donovan isn’t worried about the Gators’ (19-5, 7-2 SEC) ability to bounce back against the Volunteers (12-12, 4-5 SEC) when the two teams meet again at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.

“I don't think that going into the game they're not going to be ready to play,” he said. “They'll come out and they'll battle and they'll fight and try to make corrections from our last game and try to make corrections from the last time we played Tennessee.”
