ShareBeal, Young ready to relish new roles
Florida is looking for team leaders to emerge before what looks to be the toughest two-game stretch of the season heading into postseason play.
The Gators dropped an ugly road game to Georgia over the weekend, prompting some harsh comments from coach Billy Donovan that slapped a handful of players in the face with the harsh reality that they’re blowing a golden opportunity.
“There’s so many people out there that would trade shoes with us in a heartbeat to have this opportunity,” sophomore center Patric Young said. “It’s just hard to believe that sometimes we come in there and we’re not thankful and we lose sight of that.”
