At peace in Gainesville
He is at peace as he stretches his seven-foot frame out on the winding stairwell that leads to the second floor and the offices of the University of Florida basketball coaches. The basketball practice facility is his refuge even today and Gainesville is the place he feels most at home. On this Wednesday afternoon, staring down at the 2006 national championship trophy, Joakim Noah is back in his element, safe in his surroundings.
