Florida overcame a 6-4 deficit by belting a pair of two-run homers in the eighth inning to beat the Vanderbilt Commodores 8-6 on Thursday at McKethan Stadium.

Senior Bryson Barber hit a pinch-hit blast off of the foul pole and classmate Brandon McArthur cleared the left field fence to put the Gators ahead for their first come-from-behind win after seven innings this season.

The Gators were 0-14 when behind after seven innings this season. Senior Josh Edmondson (4-3) tossed 1.2 scoreless innings to secure the win in relief, while starter Billy Bullock allowed only four earned runs in seven solid innings.
