Now, the waiting game begins as negotiations between Lance McCullers and the Houston Astros certainly are underway.
Will the Gatorade National Player of the Year sign a professional contract or decide to enroll at the University of Florida?
Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit made it to the state semifinals this season largely due to McCullers. On the season, McCullers posted a 13-0 record with an 0.18 ERA. He is the second Florida Gators baseball signee drafted this year.
