Jonathon Crawford outshines them all

In a game that featured a first-round MLB 2013 draft prospect in LSU starter Kevin Gausman and an elite closer in Florida’s Austin Maddox, sophomore Jonathon Crawford outshined them all.

Crawford found once the series opener began that he would start Friday due to an injury to Florida ace Hudson Randall.

The right-hander didn’t disappoint by shutting out the No. 7 LSU Tigers (24-7, 7-4) over six innings Friday night for his longest career outing.
