The big news this past week was Steven Rodriguez being promoted to Double-A just two months after graduating from Florida.

Several other former Florida Gators had impressive weeks.

Florida has a total of 25 former players playing professional baseball, with three in the majors and 22 in the minors. Each week, GatorCountry.com recaps the individual players' performances in this weekly Gators Down on the Farm feature:
