Gators Down on the Farm: 7/16/12

Daniel Pigott drove in six runs on five hits in his last game out for the Billings Mustangs, a rookie league affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.

The big news this week was the professional debut of former Florida Gators catcher Mike Zunino, who doubled off of the wall in first career at-bat.

Former Florida outfielder Daniel Pigott also is off to a fast start on his pro career after exploding for five hits and six RBI in his last game.

Several other former Gators baseball players continue to perform well and had strong showings this past week.
