Gators baseball hangs on vs. ‘Cats

Preston Tucker made sure the Gators had plenty of cushion in the series opener. As it turns out, the No. 5 Gators needed every one of his RBI.

Tucker brought home two Gators en route to a Thursday night 5-3 victory vs. the No. 6 Kentucky Wildcats (36-10, 14-8).

The senior went golfing in the first inning with a solo home run down the right field line on a low off-speed pitched a foot short of home plate.
