Two rain delays lasting almost a combined three hours was the only thing that could slow the Florida Gators' baseball team down during Game 1 of the Gainesville Super Regional at McKethan Stadium on Saturday.

Florida (46-18), the No. 1 overall national seed in the 2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament, took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three super regional with a 7-1 victory against North Carolina State (43-19).
